Today museums are open, and I shun public transport in preference of the motorcycle when going to town. Too many places, too far apart. So first a few boring galleries, then the fine Art Gallery of Ontario, followed by a few more galleries.
That's it, all that remains is a picture of the Gueen E. Highway and her glass skyscraper canyon, which will be too dangereous (no shoulder) to take from the actual highway. A ramp next to it turns out to belong to The Steam Whistle Brewing Company - yet another micro-brewery - that even has and electric delivery truck.
It looks better on the film, but that's too big to upload here.
120 km range, 1958 Chevy 31 Apache, the good one with dual headlights. Electric conversion with pricey lithium batteries, 120 km range, but unfortunately it is too heavy for daily use.
That's it for the town: I ride up to film expressway, then join the commuters going home on jammed roads, and by now I've had it with driving about here. In LA splitting lanes was legal, but even if that was the case here too, there wouldn't be room. I's pretty cold too, so the bike meet at the Dark Horse coffee shop will be without a strange foreign-reg'd bike. And I want to spend the last evening here with Hanna - who knows, we may never see each other again.
